Composition

From all the options I narrowed down in my brainstorm I have decided to answer the question of Composition. Because In photography, it’s not just what you shoot that counts it’s also the way that you shoot it is crucial, too. Poor photo composition can make a fantastic subject dull, but a well-set scene can create a wonderful image from the most ordinary of situations. Photo composition doesn’t have to be complicated. There are all sorts of theories and techniques that I can include such as the ‘Rule of Thirds’, ‘Exposure’, ‘HDR’ etc. In conclusion by choosing composition means that I’ll be working with a wide range of subjects and scenes, and this requires a more open-minded approach. And by that I mean what works for one photo won’t necessarily work for another. So I believe the key thing is to understand is how all the decisions i make about composition can affect the way a shot looks and how people perceive the photos I take. The way that i frame a shot, needs to have a chosen focal point or even the position I set the camera up at or a person can make all the difference. But I believe this is an aspect I can really shine in because it gives me the chance to explore new techniques which I am excited to do and also gain a much better wisdom about photography through the use of others photographer styles and traits. Another reason to why I chose Composition is I believe that there is a lot of opportunity to get Composition right in my local surroundings as I have lots of access to busy cityscapes as well as peaceful country lanes which I could really use to my advantage when exploring into composition and other small sub grouped composition techniques.
